more bump mapping experimentation
this time i used the lava effect that got me the "Wormies" ([link]) wallpaper only this time i took the picture, made a black&white and inverted colors version of it on a different layer to use as the elevation map (inverted colors meant i'd get a bump map with depressions instead of elevations along the lines). then i used the light effects to do the bump mapping and the lighting. i really like the way this turned out, it looks like it really could be some kinda lava that's hardened over some... |
